THE GOOD AND THE RIGHT WAY

All men go astray when they forsake the right way (2 Peter 2:15). The challenge in teaching people this truth comes because people want to think they are following the right way whether they are or not. Men have always tried to justify their actions by saying, “Peace, peace when there is no peace” (Jeremiah 6:14; 8:11). Like faithful Samuel of old, Christians today need to teach the truth about the right church whether men—including our friends and family—accept it or not. Samuel was committed to this position in his time, for he said, “Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things He hath done for you” (1 Samuel 12:23-24).

The Right Church

Right Beginning Place, Luke 24:48; Acts 2.

Right Beginning Time, Daniel 2:44; 9:24-26.

Right Name, Romans 16:16; 1 Corinthians 1:2; Hebrews 12:23; Acts 5:11.

Right Doctrine, Acts 2:42.

Right Worship, John 4:24.

Right Organization, 1 Timothy 3:1-13.

Right Work, Ephesians 4:12.

Right Mission, Matthew 28:19-20.

Right Savior, Acts 4:12.

Right Future, Philippians 3:20.

Right Plan of Salvation, Mark 16:16.

There is a church which is right in the sight of God. And, just because most men in the world are content with being in a church they cannot read about in the Bible, Christians cannot stop telling people about it out of deference to their acquaintances. Most seemingly don’t know there is a church that is right in the sight of God or that the Bible presents such a church. Someone needs to let them know about it before it is everlasting too late for them.

You can rest assured that if the Catholic and denominational people had Scriptural backing for their views, they would shout it from the housetops! There is only one church in all this wide world that is right, and her members need to shout it from the housetops! *“The churches of Christ Salute you!”* (Romans 16:16).
